52. Restraint

● Jeremiah 18:2-6 2 “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” 3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel(h0070. אֹבֶן ’ôḇen). 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so …

51. Look for the Name

Many of the tribe of Judah call God by the name of HaShem, meaning “the name,” השם. First, I did a search of the word השם in the Hebrew Scriptures without prefixes or suffixes. It seems we always get some surprises with these searches. AlHaTorah השם no prefixes and no suffixes  https://library.alhatorah.org/Search?mode=basic&p=0&c=1&s=0&t=השם&distance=10&inorder=0&en=1&notes=1&tree=shallow Tanakh (9 results) 1. 50. “Book of Remembrance”

Apologies that there are very few apparent connections among the past couple of entries and this one. There are so very many connections to be made and so much background information in Oder for the connections to make sense. So, here we are going to be introducing a very important concept about “to remember,” which …

49. Circling the Wagons

A pause. A Sabbath pause. First, a comment that there has been a new addition at the second half of Appendix 3, the discussion of the Hebrew word לפני, which is pretty short, and I encourage you to read. It is pertinent to the times in which we are now living. Next, a reminder about PaRDeS …

48. More on Trees

A bit to tie together some of the pieces from our Hebrew / Life Lesson. First, it is the h6982. קוֹרָה qôrâ, the trunk, of the tree that brings allows the reaching toward Heaven, שמים. All the parts we have discussed must work together, but the strength in the trunk, the קורה, allows its height without collapsing in storms. …

47. Part II – Hebrew Lesson / Life Lesson

● Moses asked the LORD to show him his glory Ex33:18. Moses was told that he could not see the face of the LORD, but revealed his character to Moses: Exodus 34:6-7 6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, …

46. ‎קרא קרה קורה of calling and tree trunks

One more background piece before moving to the rest of the Hebrew/Life lesson. It seems each day new revelations come. As usual, there is a family of words: GV p.234 קרר cool; p.233 קרה occur [meet without prior intent]; p.232 קרא summon [cause change in direction]; p.226 קור dig [for source and connection]; p.227 קיר limit [space]; p.109 יקר value; p.162 נקר penetrate  CM קרר encircle (C43); קרה and קרא limit activity (C40); קור cover/uncover (C7); (קיר no …

45. Radiate the Power

This is being inserted between the last entry’s Life Lesson, and its continuation. I’m not sure why I was led to do so, but perhaps it will become clear. Αββα – Abba – a name Yeshua/Jesus uses in prayer at his time of conflict and submission in Gethsemane. Where does it come from? Only one …

44. A Brief Hebrew Lesson / A Life Lesson

(This began as one writing, but is being divided••• more at a later time Abba willing.) Primarily to show how we are using a relatively simple approach here••• Now that you have somewhat seen it in action, here is some of the explanation behind it. It has never been the goal here to make Hebrew …

43. צוך

First, a brief explanation of what we are discussing. The root צוה is traditionally translated as “command.” We will look at the meaning from EDBH momentarily. In learning about Hebrew grammar, one would learn to drop the weak consonant and add the suffix “ך” to get the second person singular of the person doing the action. So the common …
